Bears Class 2018-19
5th July- I just wanted you to know how impressed we have been this week during the SRE sessions and especially today! Some really sensible questions were asked and they all said they’d learnt some really important information. They were so incredibly mature. Proud of you all!
Just to let you know that Gracie Slater was born at 1:45 this morning. Mum and baby are doing fine!
The Year 6s have been amazing this week. Their attitude towards their tests has been fantastic and they have all been keen to find out their results. This latest test was a tough one and we’ve explained to them that if their result hasn’t improved, this is probably why. We have identified areas for revision in the next few weeks to help them with their SATs preparation.
Well done Owls and Bears! We’re really proud of you all.
Mrs Slater, Mrs Grant and Miss Higton.
SATS HOMEWORK SCHEDULE SPRING 2
Parents' SATS Meeting Presentation
Some serious debating happening in our reading session today!
1. Homework SATS buster books to be handed in tomorrow.
2. Please save all of your cereal, teabag and porridge boxes for our science week next week. (4.2.19) We will be creating a Maori Totem Pole with electrical parts and will need as many spare boxes as we can get. Please bring them in to either the Owls' or Bears' classroom.
3. If any further parents/carers are interested in coming to speak during our Aspirations week please do let us know. (WC11.2.19) It would be a quick chat about the job you do, how you got into it and why you enjoy it so much. Thanks in advance.
