Happy Children Inspired to Learn

Our Governors

My name is Joanna Dronfield and I have been a parent governor for 6 years.  I take a great interest in the running of the school.  As Governors, we always work together in ensuring we do the best for our children.  My son has just moved up to Yr 10 and my daughter is moving into Y6 in September. They both enjoy their time here and I look forward to continuing in my role.

My name is Steve Marshall-Clarke and I am a Derbyshire County Councillor and Alfreton Town Councillor with a son (Ezra) in year 4 and have 4 other children. I have been a governor for 6 years. I am always willing to listen to what students and parents have to say about the running of the school. If you want to contact me for a chat you can phone me on 10773 834206 or e -mail at

My name is Mary Kerry and I am currently Business Manager at Woodbridge Junior School and a staff member.  I have a wide experience of holding office as a governor spanning nursery, primary and secondary education for over 20 years.  The key principle for my involvement as a governor is to ensure the best education possible for the children involved. I am a secondary school governor at a local school, a member of Alfreton Town Council and also Alfreton Town Mayor this year.
