Summer Term 2

Week 8

What a great start to the week with Tough Runner on Monday, the (not so very) Silent Disco on Tuesday, followed by an Otters vs Hedgehogs rounders match (which ended in a draw, 7-7) and a picnic lunch on our last day together in Year 5.

Week 7

In our final full week of the term, we made PowerPoints on Natural Disasters, we have been studying this term in Geography, experimented with buoyancy of shape in Science, took part in a Rate Strong Race and received our swimming certificates!

Week 6

This week in Hedgehog's, we've had our last Forest School session of Year 5, played Rounders in PE and wrote some relative clauses in English!

Week 5

It's been a busy week in the sunshine for Hedgehogs this week! Batting practise in cricket, using technology to help us find out the meaning of words in English, producing amazing fact files on earthquakes in Geography and not forgetting enjoying a fabulous morning outside on Sports Day!

Week 4

This week we have been refining our pencil drawings of mountains and practising our Sports Day races for next week's BIG day!

Week 3

In Hedgehogs this week, we have been looking at mountain ranges using atlases, using force meters to measure friction in our science experiment and even trying our hand at bowling in cricket!

Week 2

This week we visited DNA for our Design & Technology Day, drew some one-point perspective pictures in Art and looked at Negative Numbers in Maths.
