Happy Children Inspired to Learn

Homework

Reading:

Children are expected to read at least four times a week to achieve their Fantastic Four.  They will decide upon a reward together if they achieve a set number of Fantastic Fours in a term.

English:

A Year 6, a homework booklet based on Spelling and Vocabulary will be sent home.  A page will be set each Wednesday (look at the list below which is also stuck at the front of the book) to be completed by the following Wednesday.

Maths:

The children should use TT Rockstars regularly to build up their times table knowledge.  We recommend 10 minute sessions at least five times per week to keep their times table knowledge tip-top as well helping their class win the weekly T20 competition.

Topic:

You will find a list of activities below to choose from.  These can be completed during the term and brought into class to be shared and celebrated.  Children will be rewarded Dojos for their efforts.
