    Tuesday 17th December- Fun at our Christmas party.

    Monday 16th December - Look at our amazing readers! These children have been working so hard and have made over one years progress this term. Keep up the great work! The child who made the most progress got to choose and keep a book from the Hanson library. We're really proud of you all.

    Thursday 12th December - English and a game of Conscience Alley. How does it feel to be a refugee? Why are you fleeing your country? How does it feel to start a new life in a new country? The children take on different points of view before their Independent Write next week where they need to write a poem from the perspective of a refugee.

    Tuesday 10th December - Those pesky elves have been causing havoc in the Year 6 corridor!

    Wednesday 4th December - Art - Look at our amazing Picasso inspired self-portraits. We also used our sketching techniques for the background.

    Wednesday 27th November - Art - We have been looking at how Picasso used colour to represent emotions. We tried out this skill on the 'Weeping Woman'. What emotions do you think our colours represent?

    Tuesday 26th November - Science - Investigating the effect of a greater voltage in a circuit.

    Tuesday 26th November - Here we are practicing our 'travelling' skills in PE-Gymnastics.

    Friday 22nd November- Enjoying the snow while it lasts.

    Wednesday 20th November - Hot chocolate, chocolate biscuits as well as an extra Forest School session in the snow. Here we are having our well-deserved treat for achieving the Golden Trio (100% in attendance, TT20 AND Fantastic Four). Owls are on fire!

    Monday 18th November - Here are our Picasso inspired drawings. We have looked at the work of Picasso throughout his life and wanted to show how we could use colour to express an emotion. Can you recognise which emotion each of these pictures is trying to portray?

    Friday 8th November - Drama - Here we are working on our Conscience Alley trying to put ourselves into the shoes of Nelson Mandela.

    This is our Performance Carousel and Freeze Frames to depict significant events in the life of Nelson Mandela.
