Our last full week in Year Six. And what a week it has been, with our Leavers' production on Wednesday and our party to look forward to on Friday evening. We couldn't have been more proud of every single one of them this week - the performance was the best they have ever done it. They completely pulled it out of the bag and did themselves proud. In maths and English, we have been working on a project where we have designed a theme park and worked out the costs and created a leaflet to go with it. We were lucky to have a visitor for an extra PE lesson this week to put us through some circuit training. There were some sore legs the next day! Finally, this wonderful cake made by Mrs Hunt will make its appearance at the party on Friday evening. Thank you so much. We can't wait to try it.

Week 5 - Year 6 have been incredibly busy and incredibly HOT!!! But we haven't let the soaring temperatures stop us from working hard rehearsing for our Year 6 production.  Today we did our pre-dress rehearsal and we were FANTASTIC! No mistakes, no fluffed lines, just absolute brilliance!!  We chilled out in the Forest Schools area where some of us decided to play bowling using tyres!  It was fun to watch and closely supervised, may I add! To finish off, we had a group lunch in the hall, to take advantage of the cooler temperatures.

Week 4 - We've had a really busy week.  There's been lots of rehearsing for our Year 6 production which is going really well.  Sports Day on Tuesday was a success - we may not have won as a team but we all put in 100% in our races. The photos below are from our Art lesson.  We were mixing shades of blue, purple and green in preparation for our own version of Hokusai's wave.

Week 3 - After the demanding SATs week, we have been busy creating towers for our Taskmaster Challenge.
