Wednesday 2nd April - Maths Challenge - Can you draw an irregular hexagon with at least 2 acute angles? This and many more challenges kept all of Year 6 busy this afternoon. It was great to be learning outside in the sunshine.
Weds 2nd April - In our Art lessons we created our own batik pictures - using PVA glue instead of wax. We then mounted them and created a frame. Look how fabulous they are.
Making nets of 3D shapes. This is great revision for our SATs - looking at the properties.
Thursday 20th March - Practising our drama skills. We were looking at the characters in our class reading book "Wonder".
Weds 19th March - Look at the beautiful tie-dye patterns we created in Art last week!
Tuesday 18th March - Enjoying a filtering experiment, finding out which material would be the best to filter micro- plastics in the oceans.

Friday 14th March - The Eagles working hard on interpreting line graphs as part of their Statistics topic.
Wednesday 12th March - Watching our live link "Amazing Adaptation Day" as part of Science Week.
Friday 7th March - To celebrate the beginning of Science Week, we experienced an interactive underwater adventure. We learned lots of information about coral reefs and wildlife living under the ocean. It was great fun!
Thursday 6th March - World Book Day. Look at the fantastic costumes people wore to represent their word.
Tuesday 4th March The Eagles finding percentages of numbers.
Using our checklist to proof-read and edit our writing.
Friday 28th February- The Eagles enjoying writing their Viking story using their story recipe.
Wednesday 26th February- revision using Kahoot!
Monday 24th February- In Science we tried to find the Latin names of animals as part of our lesson on Carl Linnaeus and his classification system.
