Week 4.
Well done to our certificate winners this week, for showing respect.
Our Science this week allowed us to search for pollinators, then use cheesy whatsits to see how pollen transferred.
In D.T, we made our seed bombs by following the instructions we wrote on our plan.
In magic maths we found partners to complete our 8 times table .





Our instruction writing in English allowed us to make a jam sandwich, so we fully understand how to write the instructions.
In P.E, we began a game of tennis, using all of the skills we have been practicing.

Week 3.
Our seeds we plants have now got roots, stems and their first leaves.



We used drama in Science, to act out the life cycle of a flowering plant.
In English, we used drama to immerse ourselves in ambitious vocabulary, ready for our independent write : a setting description.






In P.E, we continued to practice skills we will need to play tennis.

Well done to our certificate winners for showing aspiration and Kuba for earning the most dojos.
In P.E, we continued to learn the skills needed to play tennis.




In Science, we labelled and dissected the parts of a lily, then discussed the function of each.




In preparation for instructional writing in English, we planted sunflower seeds. Our Science lesson ensured we knew the requirements needed for growth.






We concluded our maths topic on mass and capacity, ready to revisit fractions.


Our new word is ‘guzzle’. When the weather is hot, we might guzzle our drink.

Out in the sunshine, we began to learn skills we will need to play tennis.
Our one off geography lesson for this half term, involved exploring the food miles our food travels and the effects on the environment.




In D.T, we evaluated seed bombs and their packaging, then designed our own.
