Soapbox Challenge
We loved our Soapbox Challenge week at Woodbridge! We learned all about the importance of developing oracy skills, as well as how to create an effective speech. We used the Oracy Framework to help us plan, compose and deliver a speech about a topic we were passionate about. These topics included a range of subjects, such as reducing plastic use to why football is the best sport. We even had children speaking about their love of horses, gymnastics and all things in between. It was a fantastic opportunity for everyone to have some fun whilst developing some key oracy skills.
