Tuesday 17th May - The winning bakers make it to Alfreton Tea Rooms to create their winning batch of Oreo Rocky Road. Don't forget to go and visit this weekend and vote for your favourite.

Wednesday 11th May - The Great British Bake Off - Blind Taste Test! Our four esteemed judges tasted all Rocky Roads and, after some considerable deliberation, announced the winner...

And the winners are ...

Tuesday 10th May - What a hectic afternoon creating six different types of Rocky Road. It was chaos, very messy but brilliant fun.

Friday 6th May - Woodbridge Winners for Aspiration.

Thursday 5th May - Trip to Cadbury World. We had a great day from finding out where chocolate came from to tempering and decorating with chocolate, to tasting different toppings.

Friday 29th April - A huge thank you to Mrs Jowett-Frost for helping us get our new topic off the ground. The children were so enthusiastic discussing ingredients and best selling cakes. Our topic is 'Can we make the best cake in town?' We intend to make a Rocky Road variations with the winning recipe being made and sold at Alfreton Tea Rooms. Rabbits will then compete with Badgers to see who really has 'made the best cake in town'. Watch this space for more information.

Tuesday 26th April - Our first tennis lesson in readiness for the Tennis Festival on Thursday.

Friday 8th April - Making soup with seasonal vegetables. I'm not sure we all enjoyed tasting it though!

Friday 1st April - Science and recreating the digestive system. It was a messy business!

Friday 1st April - Music. Kandinsky could hear sound. We used his artwork to inspire our compositions. Each person in the group chose a shape and colour from a piece of art and decided what sound they thought it would be. We think these group shots could be possible album covers. What do you think?

Friday 4th March - Swimming awards. Rabbits only had four lessons but just look what you can achieve with a little hard work. Well done everyone.

Tuesday 1st March - 'How do you keep healthy?' What do we think? In groups, we drew around a willing volunteer and labelled our body in detail on how we could keep it healthy. We had plenty of ideas as you can see ...

Thursday 3rd February - Researching the Trojan War using pottery to find evidence before acting out the story.

Friday 28th January - Here we are using venn diagrams to compare modern and Ancient Olympics.

Tuesday 25th January - Rabbits have been working hard on their descriptive writing We created some amazing winter poems. Our handwriting is pretty spectacular too.

Tuesday 18th January - Our first lesson using Venn Diagrams to sort living things.

Monday 17th January - Fun in the sun during Forest Schools.

Friday 14th January - Feasting like the Ancient Greeks.

Friday 14th January - Creating a Greek inspired meal. After planning carefully, choosing our ingredients, making sure that our meal look like a piece of art, we got to feast like an Ancient Greek.

Tuesday 11th January - Happy New Year - First day back and we're tasting foods from Greece at the start of our new topic 'What did the Greeks do for us?' We had to look closely at each food and give it a good sniff before trying to taste it. There were a lot of new foods for us to try. We didn't like them all!

Tuesday 16th November - Fantastic team work during PE today where the children worked together to create a range of balances.

Friday 12th November - Woodbridge Winner for Responsibility.

Monday 1st November - First day of term and working with a professional artist to create our own graffiti. Jim took us through the history of graffiti as well as step by step guide on creating our own names or designs in using these graffiti features.

Monday 1st November - These are the finished results. Pretty impressive I'd say.

Friday 5th November - What a mess! Or is it art? Our start of term WOW where the children had to dress up their model as a piece of art using toilet paper! Remember - art is in the eye of the beholder!

Friday 5th November - Pur Woodbridge Winners for Confidence

Friday 22nd October - Our final topic session. The children created Halloween models using electrical circuits all had to be controlled by a switch.

Friday 22nd October - Fantastic Four treat. Well done to all of the children who achieved their Fantastic Four treat today. Mrs Hunt did us proud with her Halloween cupcakes. The children certainly enjoyed them.

Friday 22nd October - Woodbridge Winners for Resilience

Wednesday 20th October - After our trip to Cromford Mill, the children created these amazing non-chronological reports. You may not be able to read them clearly but, trust me, they include a title, sub-headings, topic sentences to introduce each paragraph as well as fronted adverbials and conjunctions! I think you'll agree that the children may need a half term holiday after all of this hard work!

Friday 15th October - Our Woodbridge Winners for Creativity.

Monday 11th October - Rabbits' trip to Cromford Mill. A look around Cromford to find evidence of Richard Arkwright. Here you can see the Mill, the Bear Pit as well as North Street.
