I am the Vice Chair of the governing board. My youngest child attends the school and my eldest son also attended the school and is now completing his teacher training.

I am a local business owner of Alfreton Tearooms where I form links with the community at every opportunity.  I am a member of the town council and currently the Mayor of Alfreton.

I am a member of Alfreton Youth Provisions Umbrella and I am very enthusiastic about providing free youth provisions for students at our school.

I have been a governor since 2021 and my main responsibilities are equality and diversity, curriculum and attendance.

I enjoy being a governor because it keeps me in touch with what is happening with the pupils, what the school is doing well and what needs to be improved.

I am extremely proud of our school, staff and students.
