Here is a selection of activities that children can do at home if they need to. The children can work through these activities in any order. They can also continue to complete their Fantastic Four reading at home and they can practise their Times Tables on TT Rockstars.

English

In English, the children are learning about the features of a setting description and apply this to their writing. Additionally, the children will be developing the skills to help them write a rescue story.

The skills the children will learn this term are:

• figurative language - similes / metaphors / personification
