History:

In History, we are learning about how life has changed in Britain and comparing our childhood to those of our grandparents.

Geography:

In Geography, we will recapping our learning on biomes and looking at vegetation belts. Within our geography lessons, we will develop our location knowledge by identifying the position and significance of Northern hemisphere, southern hemisphere and time zones

We will be using an online mapping programme called 'Digimaps' to aid our learning.

Design Technology:

In DT, we will be designing, making and evaluating our own healthy pizza snack. We will be learning all about how to keep our body healthy with what we eat. We will be making our own pizza dough and thinking about what toppings to add to keep our pizza healthy.

Science:

This half term, our science topic is animals, including humans. The children will able to describe the changes as humans develop to old age. We will be exploring the development and growth at each stage of development. Within this, we will be learning how our body changes throughout our life and how we have to change how to keep us healthy at each stage. We will also be exploring the gestation period and how this compares to different gestation periods of animals.
