Anglo-Saxon Day
The children have had a fantastic immersive experience from The History Van, learning all about Anglo-Saxon England and how the country was divided into kingdoms. We have learned how to make ink from oak apples, parchment from animal skin, the Anglo-Saxon alphabet (runes) and how to write with quills. See below for some photos of our exciting day!
