Free School Meals

From this week (week beginning 20th April) your fsm food vouchers will come from a different source- the DfE's own service. These vouchers will be for £15 a week for each child. If you have any problems with this new system, please look at the document below which answers some frequently asked questions.
Fare Share is an organisation that saves surplus good food from across the food industry from going to waste and redistributes it to families. Our Fare Share delivery comes each Wednesday. We will send you an App message when it arrives. You can then come down to school to collect the items you would like. Bring a carrier bag or two.

Update 27th March

We are changing the way that we offer free school meals to children who are entitled.  We will stop offering the option to collect a packed lunch from school and will instead send you a voucher for £11.50 for each week to spend at Tesco on food items for your child’s lunch. This voucher will come in the form of a code which will be sent to your phone. You will show the code at the checkout to get the reduction of £11.50 on your shopping. This will be restricted to sales of age related items.  You will be receiving your code over the next few days. Those children who are attending school will continue to be given a hot meal next week as usual.  Please let us know of any problems.

20th March 2020

If you are entitled to free school meals, we will continue to provide provide your child with a lunch.

If your child is attending our provision, they will receive a hot meal as usual.

If your child is at home, we will prepare a packed lunch each day- these can be collected from school at 11.30 a.m. Please call the school to order your child's meals for the week.
