Reading:

Children are expected to read at least four times a week to achieve their Fantastic Four.  They will decide upon a reward together if they achieve a set number of Fantastic Fours in a term.

 

English:

A Year 5 10 Minute Weekly Workout booklet has been sent home.  A page will be set each Monday to be completed by the following Monday.  As the children cannot bring the book back into school, we ask you to send a photo of the page completed using Class Dojo or Portfolio.

 

Maths:

The children should use TT Rockstars regularly to build up their times table knowledge.  We recommend 10 minute sessions at least five times per week.

 

Topic:

We send out a menu of homework items to choose from for each topic.  These can be completed during the term and a photo or video can be sent in to celebrate the work using Class Dojo or their Portfolio.
