This week to celebrate reading and books, we have had lots of visitors to talk about their love of reading and to tell us stories. We made eggs into book characters and dressed up for World Book Day!

We could almost start a town with the amazing Tudor house models some of the Hedgehogs have made for their homework, as well as a range of research, baking and heraldry homework we've received, amazing Hedgehogs!
14th Feb - our fabulous 'Big Buddies' deserve recognition for the part they play in Buddy Readers
14th Feb - Our dodge ball team did us proud last night, placing 2nd! They showed amazing team spirit and sportsmanship, well done!
14th Feb - As well as a whole class certificate for resilience, these two showed exceptional learning attitudes
13th Feb - Five of our year 5s ventured over to David Neiper Academy to join in a science day, these three Hedgehogs were super scientists and did us proud! We even came back with the winning airplane out of 20 teams!
7th Feb - There are so many aiming high attitudes in Hedgehogs classroom - here are this week's aspiration award winners
5th Feb - Our decimals unit in maths has involved lots of concrete materials to compare, add and subtract decimal numbers
4th Feb - I think our new reading corner is going to be popular!
3rd Feb - All of year 5 and 6 had such a brilliant day; our Tudor workshop brought to life some of the learning we have done already and introduced so much fantastic new learning!
