We will be using our Jason Wade Story Recipes to write a story based on a journey, fitting in with our class reader. This will involve lots of discussion and role-play, creating a story map, choosing characters, describing settings and writing each section of the story independently. We will also be creating a persuasive piece of writing on the theme of “Desert Island”, again linking in with our class book.

Our class reader for this term is Michael Morpurgo’s “Kensuke’s Kingdom”
