At the beginning of this half term, we are learning all about poetry. Find a poem that you like and have a go at performing it. If you feel confident enough, you could even record yourself performing this poem. Later on the the term, we will writing letters. We will continue to explore complex sentences structures. Topic

Our topic for this half term is understanding all about growth and development of the human body as you get older. We will be learning about how to keep our body healthy. Follow the lessons belows.

English

This half term, we are going to be writing a biography on Joan Miro (who is a Spanish artist). Do some of your own research and have a go at writing your own biography about a different artist. Complete the other work below first to improve your own writing.

Topic

This half term, we are exploring art from all around the world and creating our own version of art. Research different artist from different countries and create your own style. You could also try photography of your art.

This half term we are working on writing narratives. Using inverted commas is a key skill when writing narratives so work your way through the inverted commas tasks and then have a go at writing your own narrative.

Topic

This half term, we are looking at the rainforest and answering the question 'could we survive without the rainforest?'. This work below looks at deforestation and the impact it has on us. Learn all about deforestation and then create a poster to make other people aware.
