11:10 SPELLING Your final chance to practice your spellings. Get an adult or older sibling or pet to test you. They need to give you a sentence with a spelling word and you must write down the correct spelling for that sentence. You need to know the meaning of each word as some sound exactly the same.
11:20 ENGLISH Write a report on the battle between Theseus and the Minotaur. You yesterday's Word Bank to help you.

11:20 ENGLISH Make sure that you have this week's work handy as you're going to create your own winter poem today. When you've chosen your favourite ideas from each day, copy the poem out in your best joined handwriting and take a phot so that we can add it to our display in school.

11:10 SPELLINGS Can you break each word into two or three sections to help you spell them? For example, picture could be broken into pic - ture.

1:30 TOPIC Today's activity is to complete your Top Trump cards and have a play. You could also create your own factfile on your favourite God or Goddess using your Computing skills.

Our first lesson on fractions starts with a recap of how to equally share a whole one, talks through what we know about fractions and what they look like and where we see them around us.

1:30 SCIENCE Follow the powerpoint then sort some of the animal pictures into the Venn Diagram. You DON'T have to sort ALL of the animals!

11:10 SPELLINGS - Can you create a pyramid for each word?
11:20 ENGLISH Work through the powerpoint to revise similes and metaphors. Can you turn a simile into a metaphor? Look at the final picture and add as many similes and metaphors as you can.
1:30 TOPIC Today we are going to find out about the Ancient Greek Gods and Goddesses. Once we have found out about them, we can create our own Top Trump cards.

11:20 ENGLISH - Follow the lesson powerpoint for your DO NOW and how to create a word bank. You can print off the planning grid or copy the picture below. Save today's work as you will need it for Friday's lesson.
You can copy this planning grid for today's English if you are unable to print it.
1:30 RE Follow Mrs Cresswell's powrpoint for the origins of Hinduism.

1:30 TOPIC The ancient Greek alphabet is very different from the one we use. Write your name using the ancient symbols. They may not have all of the letters that you need so do your best. In school we are using cut up straws to create awesome alphabet art!

9:10am Maths - Starting a new topic of graphs. Your teacher will introduce the lesson. There is a greater depth tast at the end.
11:10am No Nonsense Spellings - Write each of these words 5 times. Underline the pattern for each word. Have you used your best joined handwriting?
11:20am ENGLISH - Work through the powerpoint and complete the chart. Your teacher will introduce the lesson. There is a chart to print out if you are able to.
